Zany Rotarian Auctioneers and spotters add fun to this popular event with bidders always in very vocal but friendly competition to purchase the auction items. The largest piece to this fundraiser is the Live Auction running from 4pm to 6 pm. For the delight of the children there is a no charge play area overseen by Rotarians and friends. The Silent Auction is a multi-section event that will begin at 11am and will end at 3pm and includes donations from local and valley merchants, Rotarians and friends, including jewelry, theme baskets, gift certificates, artwork and lots of easy on the wallet items.
The Würst Dam Car Show, will once again showcase several hundred vehicles in the shaded comfort of the park. We also have food trucks with other assorted menu and drink items beyond our traditional bratwurst and hot dogs. In addition to our food, refreshing soft drinks, water, margaritas, wine and beer will be served by Sunrise Rotarians. Grab a beer and a brat, then participate or cheer on your friends in the games we guarantee you’ll have the Wurst Time Ever!Īround town at the local businesses, there will also be activities, and things you will want to make sure that you see.On Saturday morning, the Brat-grillers start grilling the more than 4,000 brats, sausages and hot dogs during this one-day event. You’ll also find the Wurst University here again to give you the Wurst education possible. Live music will be here from all day at the Market Barn! We will have beer, Amana wine, and other beverages for everyone. Man cannot live on sausage alone so take a break from the summer heat under our beverage tent. Judges will select the winners for the Best in Wurst and Weirdest Wurst, while YOU will select the people’s choice winner, so make sure and try as many as you can before you cast your vote. Try from all the booths and make your pick! Not only will there be classic brats, there will also be some creative and innovative twists on the beloved brats that will make your mouth water.ĭuring the day, the sausage makers compete for a few coveted awards.
